Atlantic Furniture Inc. (originally Watercraft, Inc.) was founded 1983 in Western Massachusetts and originally manufactured and sold pine waterbed frames to wholesale customers. I needed a bed that saved some room in my bedroom and that also offered extra storage beneath, as my apartment totally lacks storage space. The design appealed to me, particularly as it looked like my cats would not be able to go underneath the bed. With the full size and larger frames, this would have been the case with four storage drawers, but the twin size can only accommodate two, so there is a gap on the non-drawer side of the frame they can hide under. I can easily build a panel to close of that side, however, to exclude my cats. Assembly was way too easy.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was prompt, although the on-line delivery status never reflected that it was enroute even when it was ready for delivery. I was a bit worried about the "back of truck" drop-off as I pictured something too massive for me to get upstairs without considerable help. The items were packed separately, however, so they were easy to unwrap and carry upstairs one at a time. The product comes shipped on a wood pallet, so you'll need to dispose or recycle that.

I searched all over the internet trying to find the style/color bed I wanted at a good price. I am very glad i found this web site! The bed is beautiful and i felt it was a good price and worth every penny. ;)
