About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

The best quality nursery furniture at the best price. Founded in 1990 by Daniel Fong, DaVinci was built upon the belief that they could provide the best quality nursery furniture at the best price. Over the years, collections, such as the Jenny Lind, have become known in the industry for being the “Best” of its kind. To this day the quality of their baby furniture is unmatched by competitors. Throughout the years, the demand for cribs and their functionality has continued to evolve. What was once a demand for simple cribs with single drop sides has changed to stylish cribs in dramatic colors that convert not only to toddler beds but also to full size beds. It was this demand that gave birth to the Emily Collection, the first of DaVinci’s convertible crib collections. Through DaVinci’s history, they continue to listen to the needs of the consumer and do their very best to provide the products, quality and functionality that is required.

Comments about DaVinci Jenny Lind Changing Table in Oak:
We had no problems recieving the changing table in the mail and it was very easy to put together. I would definately order more from here. I especially like the higher railings on top shelf so I don't always have to strap my baby in if I don't want to. The shelves all have a metal reinforcement underneath and the table as a whole is very sturdy. We also ordered a crib that came in the honey color and were pleasantly surprised to find out they matched perfectly.

Comments about DaVinci Jenny Lind Changing Table in Oak:
In a store's show room, this changing table and the crib that matches seemed a little wonky; once they were put together at home though they are very sturdy ((although we haven't used them yet). Assembly was a one person job manually, but occassionally, both of us had to look at the directions to sort out what was intended/implied; it seemed like for part of the directions we had an old set of directions and that there may have been some changes to the changing table once they had been written (or vice versa). Assembly took about 45 minutes. The two storage shelves below the changing area will be good for holding diapering supplies although I will probably cover the surface with some pretty contact paper as the composite is not very attractive. \nWe're both tall, so I'm not sure if it will be quite tall enough for our backs, but I'm not sure we would have found something tall enough without spending well over our budget.
Service and delivery comments:
We had found this changing table at a popular store and then I looked for it online; found it here with no shipping charges (at that time). All the products we ordered (we ordered the crib too) arrived on the same day and were delivered right to our doorstep.
