About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

Our son has used this crib since about 4 months old. It's not the easiest to assemble, but once put together, it's sturdy & easy to change the mattress height. We feel he's comfortable & secure, and the crib matches our other furniture in our guest bedroom beautifully.

I love this crib, it looks so nice, and I got it shipped to Canada super fast. Not very easy to assemble but manageable. Very light in weight. The Only reason I didn't give it a 5 rating because of the poor finish, with many small scratches and wood defects on it I noticed after I unpacked it. Because of the dark color it's not very noticeable but still ... for this price I can live with it

My grandchild lives with me and we needed another crib. Just love this one. Looks like we paid alot more than we did. It's very sturdy and I know we'll get many years out of it.

We use this bed for my 2nd son. He loves it. I had him sleeping in a pack-n-play ,next to my bed, until he was 8 months old and I moved him into his room into this bed. I have never been so comfortable about this bed. My first son had a cheap bed and never slept in it. This one is not only affordable but dependable.

perfect for my baby
Comments about DaVinci Emily 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in Ebony Black:
The crib is beautiful and your website has about the fastest shipping I have ever seen! And the customer service is quite friendly too, should you need to call. I had the crib & changing table and also a Bugaboo stroller I bought at my door within a week! There were a few small chips in the crib paint, but it wasn't worth replacing any parts. We'll see how it holds up to actual child wear & tear, but you have to remember the price paid. A $2400 crib would probably not chip paint, but I have no problem buying touch-up paint for the money I saved. The crib is a very sturdy construction and quite expensive looking. I have the set in Ebony. Looks GREAT with all white linens. As for the CRIB MOBILE PROBLEM ~ No problem at all. The Wendy Bellisimo mobiles fit perfect. :)
