I was wary of purchasing based on comments regarding assembly. But made the leap. So long as you lineup the dowels correctly in the first step, the rest is very easy. Highly recommend. The morning after we assembled the bookcase, my daughter immediately went to it and began examining her books! a bit more than I was looking to spend but well worth the $$.

For the price, the bookshelf is a good buy.
it is a bit flimsy, but with good maintenance, it should be good. It provides with easy access to books, so my children started to read more often than before.

I purchased this book display for my granddaughter's playroom. She is 2 years old. In her bedroom I have a box of books, to get the book she wants she has to remove all of them. With this book display she can choose her book without having to remove all of them. If I had to make a change in this product I would have made the shelves wider.

This book display is a great size and very sturdy. Many of the other book displays I researched were too small and flimsy looking. My kids can now easily find their books without pulling them all out.

This bookshelf is PERFECT for toddlers, and preschoolers. Our little one likes to remove every single book, one at a time, slipping them behind the shelf and then pulls out the shelf, "Uh-Oh." Its a little light weight, but would be more difficult to move on carpeting.
Service and delivery comments:
The shelf arrived quickly, but the box was open, looked like poor quality tape, or the weight of the pieces inside just blew out the end. One corner on the back side was dented, obviously from falling out at one point! All the pieces were there, just lots of sliding around. I would like to buy more but feel like its risky. I have recommended but mention the shipping problem every time.

We looked and searched for a budget-friendly book display, and this is the BEST one! One could order the exact same thing for a much higher price - but don't be swindled. Rounded edges, smooth, sturdy, easy to put together. And it looks GREAT! Don't overlook this product just because it's the cheapest display out there; it's what you're looking for if you're looking for a great quality book display for your children.

This product was very heavy and very hard to put together. The holes for the screws did not line up - so I have some holes without screws in them.
However,once it is together - it looks great and is very sturdy. If you have someone handy to put it together - and can drill new holes if needed, i would buy it.

This bookstand is great for kids! I have a 2 yrs old son who absolutely loves books! I searched many sites for one of these bookstands and found CSN to be by far the cheapest. It was delivered faster then the expected time and not hard to assemble at all. My son will sit in front of the stand and go through every book for hours. I highly recommend this stand especially compared to a regular book shelf. We own far to many books to fit on this stand, so every couple weeks I rotate and put a fresh stack of books on for him. He loves it cause the books are diplayed and he can find which book he wants right away!
