We bought this bookcase for my 3-year-old son to keep his books organized and he just loves it.
It works well for small books and DVDs. Not so much space for larger books, but there is always room on top of the bookcase to lay some.
Great product, easy to assemble, excellent finishing and very stable unit.

The bookcase was just as it was displayed on the web site. I purchased for my 2.5 year old and it stores lots of books and even some toys as well. It was easy to put together.

Bought this for my son's new fireman's bedroom, serves the intended purpose of being a book shelf for most of my son's books. Only wish is that it had one shelf for tall books.

My son loves the firehouse bookcase. He especially likes opening and closing the little door and putting stuff in there. The magnetic latch came off right away because one of the screw holes was stripped. We reattached it with 2 sided tape and it is working fine. Door is also fine without the latch. The bookcase is very cute.

Instructions could be improved but it's obvious they tried to do a good job. A few extra screws would be nice. One did not match but no big deal. Might want to add a wall support..mother worried about it tipping over.
