This vanity is just too cute. Was very easy to put together. Quality is very good. My grandchildren are on the petite size so it worked very well for them. But I do have to agree that for age description can be off. Not only do they need to describe by age but also needs some height measurments. This would not be meant for a toddler on the tall side. Anyway my granddaughter just loves her new vanity.

I think the craftmanship is superior but it not suited for the specified ages. My daughter is 4 and she has to bend her neck down to see herself in the mirror. In a sense, she has already out grown it and she has only had it for a few weeks.
I think the vanity and chair are absolutely adorable and the detailing is perfect for a princess. BUT.....the mirror needs to be raised so the child can actually use it without getting neck strain.

I was very pleased with the quality of this table and chair set. The price is very reasonable. I purchased this for my daughter's 4th birthday. When she first saw it in her room she said, "Thank you mommy!" She immediately sat in the chair and smiled at herself in the mirror. She is the perfect size for it. Her 6-year-old sister also enjoys sitting at the vanity. The 2 attached "trinket" boxes on the top of the table are a nice feature. My daughter "hides" her "daily treasures" there. I think this is a great gift for any little girl who likes to admire her "feminine style".
