The leg brace that came with the desk was cut too short,so it was not usable. The next one that came was thinner in diameter & the holes drilled in the ends were offset & when the screws supplied, which were too short, were inserted the outside finish of the board was split. I went & bought a sturdy piece of turned spindle & cut,stained & sealed it & used it instead. It made the desk more stable, but there is still too much side to side wobble for me. When I get the time I will put additional bracing in the thing. Grand daughter loves it. She is 2&a half. We can put a lot of her things inside to sort of keep them in the vicinity. The fit of the leg assemblies to the desk just need to be better & more sturdy.

I would love this if it weren't for one major problem.
One piece that is not crucial but nonetheless important, a brace that holds the two front legs together, does not fit properly. The screws that should hold the piece in place do not reach as far as they should, so one cross brace is left there kind of hanging, making the piece unattractive and not as useful as it might be.
Luckily this is the side that faces the wall, but still, I wish I could say this is a sturdy, fine piece of furniture, when in fact it is not.

I love this desk, it is everything that I expected. It is perfect for my daughter who is in kindergarten.
This desk is beautifully constructed and very sturdy, with alot of room for school supplies.

We purchased this desk for our two girls (ages 6 and 3). They LOVE it! I had a hard time finding something that would fit a 6 year old and still hold up for years to come with a 3 year old. The 6 year old loves to play school and this desk was a perfect fit. She will get even more years out of it. It will be perfect for days ahead of school work. I would recommond this website to anyone. I shopped many stores and websites and never found a better deal. This website even beat others prices when I emailed them.
