The mattress basically sits on a big piece of plywood; we don't let our nearly-3-yr.-old jump on his bed for this reason. That part of the bed doesn't seem durable. But it looks great and overall seems like it will last a long time.

This bed was a the best "some assembly required" item I have EVER done. All panels are letter coded so there is no way you can make a mistake. My 9 year old son (the owner of the bed) help me put it together. He loves it and says its very comfortable to sleep on.

We were looking for something for our boys bedroom, by chance came across this website. Ordered the 2 beds, [...]. It was SO easy to put them together. Once we did the first one, the second one was done very quickly! They look very nice in the room, not oversized at all. I bought these beds as interum beds for my boys, ages 3 and 5. They are perfect for them. The beds went together easily and in very little time. They look great, very "pottery barn" or "land of nod" style. Please note the product is just partical board and one drawer has already needed to be taken out and glued together. I would buy these again, they are a great value and style for the price.

Bought two of these to use for a surprise makeover guest room. They were easy to assemble; the only problems I had were a missing screw in one set and the drawer pull screws didn't get tight.\n\nThe felt sliders are a waste of time if the room is carpeted. Actually, they were a hindrance to moving the bed.\n\nA hint for people who aren't sure where to position them - don't put the full-length platform boards in place until you have the beds where you want them.
