We needed a small sandbox for use at my mother's house. We searched the stores and the web for the old turtle sandbox, but could not find one. Then we stumbled upon this ladybug sandbox, and my daughter (almost 3-years old) loves it! In fact, it's actually designed better than the old turtle boxes, especially considering that the top is attached and won't fly away in a wind. Very glad we found it!

The cover keeps the sand and toys from getting too wet. The cute appearance adds appeal for children. Our daughter was excited the minute she saw it before she knew what a sandbox was.

This was a gift for my granddaughter. Her birthday theme was lady bugs, so this was perfect and very cute! The only reason I didn't rate it higher is because I haven't seen her or it since her birthday, so I can't really say how it's holding up. It appeared to be good quality, though. I loved how the lid was attached.
