Overall the product is amazing however the ladder to climb to the top is difficult to come back down...even for an adult. I will be building an additional staircase type ladder to make it safer. It is also difficult to put sheets on the bed as you actually have to climb in there to do it!
Also needed to drill a hole in one of the pieces as it did not match where the screws went in...but took no time at all to do it.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery took way too long to get to Canada. Ordered item on Sept 7 for my daughter's birthday Oct 4..was told it should be there before that time however item did not get picked up until Oct 2 and than sat in a warehouse for two weeks waiting to get into Canada...was not impressed on the waiting. Finally recieved the bed on Oct 22. Was not impressed with the shipping company at all when I called to ask questions about the shipping.

Overall, this is a great product. However, there must have been a manufacturing glitch when it came to pre-drilling the holes for the face of the bookshelf, because that was way off and we had to get really creative to make it fit together. It took us a long time to finish that project! Bottom line, our daughters love this bed!
