History and Mission Statement
Young America is Stanley Furniture Company's premier brand of youth furniture for consumers looking for sophisticated style, innovative flexibility and lasting quality.
Their story begins in 1924 when a young dairy-farmer named Thomas B. Stanley followed the practices of other local furniture manufacturers by shipping the finest grades of lumber via railcar from the northeastern United States into a small town in southwest Virginia. He employed the finest of furniture craftsmen and shared with them his vision: to provide American families with high-quality, yet affordable, furniture. Accomplishing many of his goals in life, he went on to serve as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia in the 1950's. Mr. Stanley possessed deep sense of pride and spirit of excellence that is still built into every piece of Young America today.

This item will be delivered by a white glove freight carrier. White glove carriers are different from common carriers in that they provide the customer with many benefits throughout the delivery process. Unlike common carriers, a white glove delivery team consists of at least two people so you will not be burdened with helping the driver carry your order from the back of the truck to your home.
Important note: Once your order arrives in your area, a representative from the white glove carrier will call you to arrange a 4 hour window for delivery. You MUST inspect your package at the time of delivery. If the product has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.
White Glove Freight Service Level
This item ships using the Platinum level of white glove service. Please read the service description below for details.
White Glove Platinum
Platinum service level provides two-man delivery to inside your residence to the room you choose. This service includes carrying the product up two flights of stairs from the building threshold (4-15 steps = 1 flight). If you need the product moved up additional flights please contact us*. Once the product is in the room you desire, the shipper will unpack the product and provide light setup that requires basic tools (i.e. pieces will be screwed or bolted together, set pieces next to each other, or on top of each other). The shipper will also remove and dispose of all packaging.
*In all cases the shipper will not hookup any electrical or component wires. Having items carried up more than 25 steps and longer assembly periods are available as additional services which would require additional charges. Please contact us if you feel you need these services.
